Maansi Piparia
Dr. Maansi Piparia was born in Canton, OH and raised mostly in Tulsa, Oklahoma. As long as Maansi can remember, she has wanted to live, work and enjoy life in Texas. Maansi was always interested in Medicine and found her love for Women’s Health early in high school as a volunteer at a local hospital.
She finished high school and went on to complete her B.A./M.D at a combined six-year medical program in Kansas City, MO. In medical school, Maansi led the movement for Medical Humanities through an organization that focused on healing and art intertwined with medical care.
Maansi then went to Chicago, IL to complete her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology. There, she found a great passion in teaching medical students and junior residents and won multiple teaching awards. She found a love for laparoscopy and high risk Obstetrics.
Her program in Chicago focused on shared practices between midwives and physicians. Maansi also pursued research with a project looking at the trend in the primary Cesarean section rate versus neonatal outcomes.
Currently, Dr. Piparia enjoys spending time with her husband and son, painting, grilling and watching movies. Aside from medicine, her other passion in life is dancing. You can often find her swaying her hips to a beat!
She is very excited to be a part of OBGYN North because of the collaboration between midwives, nurses practitioners and physicians. With this teamwork of heart and hands, only then can we provide the best care to women.
