Jamie Boykin
Jamie has been helping women give birth since 2011, when she was certified as a doula. From the first birth she attended she knew she wanted to pursue a career in midwifery. She graduated from Georgetown University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2013, and proceeded to work as an RN in both the operating room and labor & delivery. She became a Certified Nurse-Midwife in 2018, after graduating from the University of New Mexico with a Master of Science in Nursing. Jamie is passionate about providing evidence based care and giving women the opportunity to birth out of hospital, and so traveled to Weslaco, TX to attend a Fellowship at Holy Family Birth Center. After finishing her 9-month Fellowship, she joined the practice here at OBGYN North.
Jamie loves to travel, most recently to France to attend the Women’s World Cup, and has also done volunteer work abroad. You may find her out on the trail or at a local coffee shop. In her free time she enjoys being out in nature or at home experimenting in the kitchen.
